Asparagus Sandwich Filling

Very tastee, soon the tyme of Asparagus will be upon
us all:

Asparagus Tapenade
1 C. Asparagus, chopped, blanched

   and drained, or grilled briefly
1 Tbsp. Capers, mashed
1/4 C. Marjoram, chopped
1/4 C. Tarragon, chopped
1 Tomato, diced
2 Cloves Garlic, minced
1/4 C. Red Onion, chopped
A Few Tbsp. Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper, to taste
Pinch of Red Chili Flakes (to taste)
1/2 C. Olives, mashed
Splash of Balsamic Vinegar
Some Nuts, chopped and toasted, if you like (Almonds are good)
Lemon Juice to taste

Mix together. Season to taste. I like multigrain or sourdough, with a full-bodied 

mustard or herbed vegan mayonnaise for this one.
If you don't like tarragon use basil or Italian parsley or something.
Makes a million little sandwiches.
