Market season is here, starting with southside Billings! I believe we are doing 5 markets this season here in Montana, 3 of them in Billings (plus Red Lodge, and probably Livingston, plus the Night Market at Kirk’s). Here’s the schedule in order of when they begin:
* the Gardeners Market in South Park, Billings, every Thursday from June 8-October 5, 4-6pm.
* Red Lodge in Lions Park, every Saturday from June 10-September 16, 9 am til noon.
*I think we’re doing Livingston, we will miss opening day but after that it goes every Wednesday from June 14-September 13, 4:30-7:30 pm at Miles Park Band Shell. I’ll post an update when I know for sure if/which days we are doing.
* Westside in Billings at Evergreen Ace, every Tuesday from July 11-September 26, 4-7pm.
* Downtown Billings at YVFM, every Saturday from July 15-October 7, 8 am til noon.
* and of course the night market & storytelling at Kirk’s Grocery in Billings every six weeks. The next two are June 19 & July 31, 5:30-9 pm.
Got my vegan baked goods and snacks, Dalabou Coffee beans and some produce (mostly culinary herbs) at all of these. Looking forward to it! Should keep me/us pretty busy.
Herbs include Thai basil, epazote, cilantro, red sorrel, amethyst basil, mint, rau ram, rosemary, and so much more! The number of types of herbs will increase as the season goes on.
